Directions
If you have colorful paperclips, assign each button to a paperclip so you’ll have a combination that suits your taste. Check each button’s back. If there are hooks or shanks, remove them with the wire cutter or plier. Apply a drop of glue to the back of the button and attach the paperclip. Let the glue dry completely. Take a small scrap of felt with the size and shape of the button and glue it on the back of the button where the paperclip is attached, so you’ll have a smooth finish. Let it dry. That’s it; they are ready to be used.

Also you can find on the market cute, colorful paperclips to have a more stunning effect. Another, more crafty option is to wrap buttons in some fabric of your choosing to make themed bookmarks, like some with spring flowers or animals, so that they become a personalized gift for a loved one. The options are really unlimited, and since it is such an easy and fun diy craft, it is great for any free afternoon to make.
