Enjoying the Summer – How Do You Enjoy It?

The summer is officially here and to be honest with you. I’m not really sure I’m ready.  For most people the summer is full of vacation ideas, kids going to summer camp, and lazy weekends near the pool with the family.  I for one, don’t know if I truly know how to relax.  Between working, being a mom, being an entrepreneur, being a blogger, and just being plain Ronique… I truly relish in people who know how to enjoy the summer.

Everyday I read countless blogs, talk to people worldwide, and everyone is enjoying the season.  From taking kids to the movies, to spending alone time in a hammock.. I miss.. Enjoyment of Summer. Today, I dedicate this blog to you, the readers who know how to enjoy this wonderful season we call summer.  When you get a chance, drop me a note, and tell me what your favorite pass time of summer is.. by Labor Day, I may have caught on…

When you plan a family vacation, do you actually have time and money for one? I think that’s where I get derailed. I think to myself..’we don’t really have the time or the money right now’. That’s probably not the right mind set, eh?

Is a vacation in your plans? I need one…

Do you make lemonade and enjoy your porch with family and friends?

Aren’t porches made just for summer? I need to use mine more…

I try to think back to my childhood. My sister and I used to visit our relatives back east and the ice cream truck was the highlight of the day! Running after it, and practically killing ourselves to catch it! Ahhh, those were the days..

Do your kids still run after the ice cream truck?

Thank you for reading my random musings about summer.. tomorrow I should be back on track. With the holiday weekend approaching, it will give me a good excuse to get into summer.. maybe.
