Have you taken a look around your home, lately? You can take simple items such as mason jars and re purpose them into personal DIY valentine’s day decor. All you need is a clear jar, heart cut outs and a votive candle.
If you don’t have these things then just visit a craft store and if you don’t have time to cut out the hearts then get a paint marker and draw the hearts on the jars. The effect will be homey and beautiful, plus it’s custom decor in a bind.

How about some wall art to help set the mood? Just like with Christmas, once the tree is set up you know Christmas day is coming. Similar effect but with Valentine’s day wall art. Take an old photo frame and take out the back cardboard piece and repaint the frame. Take some old greeting cards and cut out hearts of different sizes, then glue and lay them on a string and after they have dried glue them to the back of the frame.

How about just keeping it traditional with a homemade Valentine’s day card? This Valentine’s day idea will never get old. It began when we were young and stays with us forever. Cards are great ways to let people know how much you mean to them and they can keep it with them wherever they go. Especially the idea above. You can use a blank card, pencil and stamp ink. Take the pencil, use the tip with the eraser and stab it into the ink then take the pencil and press it on the blank card to create amazing designs.
