Make your own flower vases with Mason jars.

If you don’t have these things then just visit a craft store and if you don’t have time to cut out the hearts then get a paint marker and draw the hearts on the jars.  The effect will be homey and beautiful, plus it’s custom decor in a bind.

Valentine Wall Art with floating hearts:

How about some wall art to help set the mood?  Just like with Christmas, once the tree is set up you know Christmas day is coming.  Similar effect but with Valentine’s day wall art.  Take an old photo frame and take out the back cardboard piece and repaint the frame.  Take some old greeting cards and cut out hearts of different sizes, then glue and lay them on a string and after they have dried glue them to the back of the frame.
