Dad is the first man in our lives who encourage us to explore the world and at the same time, take care that there will be a home to which we can return when needed. Father’s Day is the occasion when children should take time and effort to show Dad how much they care for him. Here are given the ideas of some fun activities that will hopefully help children to bond with their father.

Take Dad to a Place He Wanted to Go
We all have some places where we always wanted to go but could have never been. Ask your Dad if there is any place where he wanted go but never found the time to go there. Find a way to make it happen. If your father is a veteran or history buff, visit a war memorial, history museum, or any other historic site. He will never forget such a visit.
Do Something Together with Dad
Other than playing games, do something else with your father. Plant a cool looking tree with your Dad. Every single day it will remind both of you about your relationship and the way you passed the Father’s Day. You can also build a birdhouse together with your Dad. Paint it in bright colors and hang it on any of your backyard trees.

A Little Competition for Your Competitive Dad
If you do not want to go outside, you can arrange for a few backyard games like a game of horseshoes. You can also consider playing tennis, chess, checker, or bocce. It will be a fun way to pass the day with your Dad along with the rest of the family. Otherwise, choose a healthy way like bike ride to spend the day with your father. Make the ride more interesting by arranging for a bicycle scavenger hunt.

Watch Old TV Shows or Movies
You can pass some great time with your father by watching your Dad’s favorite old-time TV shows or some movies based on Dads. If you have Netflix, watch some good old-fashioned TV with Dad. Otherwise, rent DVDs of movies based on Dads like ‘Daddy Day Care’, ‘Big Daddy’, ‘Three Men and a Baby’ and enjoy the day with your Dad.
Do What Daddy Loves the Most
Find out what your Dad loves most. If he is a car nut, buy tickets of a car show that displays incredible classic hot-rods or the latest electric cars. If he is a music buff, take him out for a music festival, which is available during these warm June days. If possible, take him to the concert of his favorite band or artist.
