There is an old saying about guests – make them feel welcome, but not too welcome. It is funny and may have some truth to it. After all, when guests are expected at our homes, we want to make the house clean, comfortable and welcoming, but we don’t want guests to overstay their welcome either. Guestroom bedrooms can have a welcoming nature, and here are tips to help.

Start off with a comfortable and welcoming bed. Elysha Charles Sleep Emporium can help you find the perfect bedding and more. Here are some great tips to make your next guest feel welcomed in your home by creating a comfortable guest room for them:
Provide the amenities of home:
The key ingredient to a perfect guest room is making available the provisions of home. For example: tooth brushes, and towels. Guests do not want to have to ask you for items – it is much nicer for everything to be laid out in their rooms for the taking.
Sheets, pillows, and blankets:
Of course, the bed is the center of the guest room, or any bedroom for that matter. Make the bed as comfortable as possible. Even if it is just a pull-out couch, you can make it comfortable with extra blankets, high thread-count sheets, and soft pillows. It is always best to have extra pillows of varying firmness on hand, and some extra blankets in case the night turns chilly.
Flowers:
Nothing says, Welcome, more than a vase of flowers. You don’t need to spend money on a pricey arrangement, just walk through your yard and pick a few tulips, or whatever you have in season. Placing these in a small vase beside the bed is a beautiful gift that you can give to your guests. Flowers, www.wallpapersales.co.uk , soothing paint colors, and decor are all important.

Books and water bottles:
Beside that pretty flower arrangement, lay out a good book and few magazines – guests always like to have something to read before bed. You can also put out a tray on the bedside table with a glass of drinking water and a Tylenol in case your guest gets a headache.
All of these gestures will surely make your guest feel like they are staying at the Ritz! And remember, nothing says welcome more than a relaxed host – if the host is relaxed then the guests will feel comfortable and at home (hopefully not too comfortable that they out-stay their welcome, though!).
