Because these are the projects where you will get at least your investment back when it comes to selling your home; In fact, you will likely make a return on the investment of a bathroom or kitchen remodel.

This being said, it can still be difficult to decide whether or not you should tackle a bathroom remodel. Here are some helpful tips to aide in your decision:
Budget:
Sit down and assess your budget. Make a list of everything you want to change or fix in your bathroom. Do you want to replace the faucet; the sink; the cabinets? Whatever you want to replace write it down and then take that list to your local hardware store. Browse the store for all the replacement items and their costs. Will you need to replace major components like structural, architectural or mechanical systems? Items like www.ductsupplies.co.uk and plumbing fittings can get expensive. Ensure your budget includes these items. This will give you a great idea of how much your remodel could set you back in terms of supplies. Another key item to add to your budget is whether or not you have to hire-out some of the projects; contractors can be expensive so you will need to get some estimates. If you are a do-it-yourselfer then you can save quite a bit of money, but don’t take on a project that you are not comfortable with as it may cost you more in the long run to fix your mistakes.

Go Big or Small?
Look at your bathroom from a home buyers perspective; is your bathroom really that outdated that it would hinder the sale of your home? Or are you just being fussy and simply want to redo your bathroom because it doesn’t suit your particular tastes? Maybe your bathroom is just fine the way it is! Maybe a simple coat of paint would make the space feel more in tune with your style. Try adding paint, pictures, candles or any other decor item that will bring your style into the bathroom – you never know this could be enough to tame your desire for a complete bathroom overhaul.
