Halloween in particular is a fun time to create food items that look bad but taste good. One easy way to do so is by turning a regular meal into a Halloween culinary spook fest. You can do this by simply modifying ordinary dishes to appear more Halloween-ish. For instance, this regular stuffed bell pepper recipe has a fun festive twist which makes them appear like Jack-O-Lanterns. We point you the recipe for your upcoming Halloween dinner.
Halloween Dinner: Jack-O-Lantern Stuffed Bell Peppers

Time: Preparation 30 minutes + Cook 1 hour
Yields: 6 bell peppers
Ingredients
6 orange bell peppers
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
4 slices wheat bread, cubed
1 small chopped onion
1 small diced tomato
2 cloves minced garlic
½ cup chili sauce
¼ cup yellow mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Properly grease an 8*8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium size bowl, lightly mix together the ground beef, bread cubes, egg, onion, tomato, chili sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and salt.
- Properly wash the peppers, and cut jack-o-lantern faces into it using a sharp paring knife. Make triangle eyes, nose, and pointy teeth smiles. Cut off the tops of the peppers, and scoop out the cores and seeds. Slowly stuff the peppers with the beef stuffing, and put them onto the prepared baking pan in a way that they lean against each other.
- Bake them in a pre heated oven until tender and, the stuffing is cooked and juicy. Approximately for 1 hour.
