Summer is undoubtedly the grilling season and nothing can be more exciting for health conscious people than finding a recipe of grilled vegetables! The Kitchen has brought a healthy dish of cauliflower steaks that will beat any pork, beef, or chicken steaks for sure. Check out this recipe, which is going to be the centerpiece of your dinner table:
Healthy Dish: Grilled Chipotle Lime Cauliflower Steaks Recipe

Ingredients
4 to 6 servings
2 large cauliflowers (heads)
2 limes (zested and juice)
Honey or agave syrup (1 teaspoon)
Olive oil (1/4 cup)
Cilantro leaves (1/4 cup; finely chopped)
Garlic (2 cloves; finely grated)
Chipotle powder (1 tablespoon)
Paprika (2 tablespoons)
Salt (1 teaspoon)

Preparation
- Take the cauliflowers and remove the leaves of the heads with a sharp knife or with your hands. Trim the end of the stem until the cauliflower can be set on the cutting board flat.
- Trim off the sides of the cauliflower with a large, sharp knife. Now, cut them into steaks-size with each piece 3 to 4 inches thick. You can preserve the fall away florets for using in other dishes.
- Take a small bowl and whisk together limejuice and olive oil. Whisk in agave syrup/honey and grated garlic in the same bowl. Take another bowl and mix together chipotle, paprika, lime zest, and salt.
- Heat a charcoal or gas grill at high heat. Brush the olive oil mixture on one side of the cauliflower steaks and sprinkle the chipotle powder mixture generously on the other side.
- Place the steaks on the hot gill with their seasoned side down. Brush olive oil mixture on the top side of the steaks and use the chipotle mix for seasoning. Now, cover the steaks with a lid and grill for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the lid and flip the steaks very carefully. Put the lid again and grill for another 5 minutes or until the steaks take the color of your desired texture.
- Now, serve after sprinkling with cilantro leaves on top and garnishing with lime wedges on the side.

Vegetarian or not, you will love this healthy dish of smoky and spicy cauliflower steaks with a flurry of cilantro and a hint of lime. Cooking on high heat will make the chipotle to give a bit of smokiness, the outside of the cauliflower well grilled yet the inside a little snappy.
