For this holiday season how many children are coming to your home? Do you find that the main dinner table is too small for them, or there’s too many kids that they need their own table? Today, I found a great idea from Apartment Therapy for creating a kid’s table. See how an ordinary table can be made fun, and keep them busy at the same time!

Kraft paper can work for both the adults and the kids!
Covering a long folding table with a white tablecloth will do wonders for the aesthetic of the children’s area, but the children are apt to work wonders on the white table cloth if cranberry sauce is involved. Spreading a sheet of kraft paper over the table not only will protect any tablecloth you might use, but paired with crayons, it also gives the kids something fun to do while the grown-ups are chattering away in the next room.

The kids will love you!
Kraft paper certainly adds a charming look to any decor and would look really nice with some mason jars to hold the crayons. Add some labels to the jars, and the look is complete!
Materials Needed:
- Kraft paper
- Mason jars
- Labels
- Crayons

I LOVE this! I’m so doing a variation of this for all the kids at Thanksgiving!
