How to Perfect a Slow Cooker Dessert – Blueberry Cobbler

Fruit cobblers are always delicious but when you make them as a slow cooker dessert or Crock Pot Dessert they’re unbelievably great. Blueberry cobbler is such a delicious treat, but who wants to turn on the oven to bake it? Thankfully, you can rely on the slow cooker and take it easy and cool. Moreover, as with all slow cooker recipes, flavors blend slowly, the cobbler cooks to a beautiful finish. Tell us what your favorite part is about this slow cooker blueberry cobbler recipe.

How to Perfect a Slow Cooker Blueberry Cobbler

Total Time: Preparation: 15 minutes, Cook: 2 hours

Yields: 8 servings

Slow Cooker Dessert: Berry Cobbler Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup + 1/4 cup sifted all purpose flour

1-cup sugar

1-teaspoon baking powder

½-teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 lightly beaten egg

¼-cup milk

2-tablespoon cooking oil

A pinch of salt

2 cups frozen or fresh raspberries, thawed

2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries, thawed or use 4 cups blueberries and omit raspberries

Easy Blueberry Cobbler Directions:

1. In a bowl, mix 1-cup flour, baking powder, 2 tablespoons sugar, and cinnamon. Add egg, oil and milk, and stir until moistened and thick.

2. Coat a slow cooker with cooking spray and spread the batter evenly.

3. In a separate bowl, mix salt, remaining sugar and flour. Add blueberries and raspberries and toss to coat. Spread over batter.

4. With a covered lid, cook on high heat for 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serve with frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream, if desired.

This easy slow cooker dessert recipe is perfect for entertaining, family get together or self-indulgence. You can replace berries with peaches, cherries or other fruits to make the recipe truly yours. This delicious slow cooker recipe is great for holidays, pot-lucks, church functions and family game night. Set it and forget it!
