To help you out with this problem, here’s how to properly wash your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your brush using professional cleaner

1. Soak your brush bristles with spray.
2. In a rough or uneven surface, rub gently back and forth until the brush is clear  of dirt.
3. Do steps 1 and 2 repeatedly as it is deemed necessary.

You may use a clean piece of cloth to absorb the spray and dirt. Move your brush in different areas of the cloth to ensure a desirable output.

Brush cleaning using your baby shampoo

1. Pour a cup of warm water in a bowl.
2. Sprinkle a decent amount of baby shampoo and stir.
3. Soak all your makeup brushes for 5 – 10 seconds.
4. Prepare a cup of cold water in a separate cup.
5. Rinse your brushes and reshape its bristles.
6. Create a see-saw with a table napkin and a round object underneath.
7. Using your see-saw, balance all your brushes with heeds positioned downwards.

You can use any baby shampoo you have at home. This is because it is mild and no chemicals can damage the bristles of your brushes.

Proper maintenance of your makeup brushes is like taking care of your face or skin. You have to ensure that everything that touches your skin is clean and safe.
