Remember when I said there has been an influx of interest in laundry rooms? I had this great idea today:
Dedicate a post every week, (maybe more often) on laundry rooms that are done by you, the viewers and other blogger’s. If you have a laundry room that you’ve redone – send me pictures, and I’ll feature you.
What I liked about Kevin and Amanda’s laundry room is that it’s not enormous, but they accomplished function and style together. When you have a lot of space function is easy. When you have a smaller space, the challenge is to make it work – and look great! For the full post visit Kevin and Amanda.com.
BEFORE:
Amanda explains that their current laundry room she couldn’t find old pictures of, but the picture to the right is of their old laundry room that was very similar.

Laundry room ideas
AFTER:
New front loading washer and dryer, cabinetry, and fresh blue paint makes this laundry room beautiful!
The storage ideas here should be noted:
Cabinets: They add depth to your storage area, and hide cleaners and dryer sheets..who needs to see that stuff?
Baskets: These are beautiful for decor, and they are mobile! So you can house stray buttons and socks that lose their mate.
Pull out storage: Maximize vertical space by using carts, and pull out shelving adjacent to the machines. This storage is an arm length away, this also helps in visually finding what you need, quickly.
Have a laundry room makeover of your own? Have inspiration photos that you are hoping your laundry room will become one day?
