Loving the Unlimited Plans with Walmart Family Mobile

Each year in my family there are a few topics that are getting old in discussing when you have teenagers. Whether it is about eating well, studying, and saving money – these are the 3 huge themes around the Gibson household every year! My oldest college son is a Sophomore and my middle son is a Sophomore in high school. Therefore cell phones and wireless phones and services are a big deal.

My husband and I have our individual iPhones and AT&T plans and our sons have Virgin Mobile and lower end Android platform phones. When I was offered the opportunity to pair up with Walmart Family Mobile for the#FamilyMobileSaves campaign for Collective Bias #cbias I thought – this is right on time, especially with back to school and all! After all who isn’t looking for cheap wireless plans and if they are unlimited plans.. even better. 🙂

Traveling to Walmart Wireless:

I have to admit I had never payed attention to the Walmart Wireless section in the front of my local Walmart here in Jacksonville, but I always saw a lot of people in there! I was pleasantly surprised to see firsthand all of the phone options including my iPhone 4 or 5 and the new Samsung Galaxy 4 – with amazing unlimited rate plans. you can see my shopping experience here:

I was so surprised to see they had Apple iPhones too! (I’m holding mine)

What I learned about the Walmart Family Mobile Services:

Saving money is on everyone’s “to-do” list, right? In my family what my husband I find is in order to have a phone we like, but also to have phone plans that offer great service we have to pay expensive rates, right? Isn’t that just the norm? I loved the options I found at Walmart:

• Unlimited text and talk for $29.88 a month
• Unlimited text, talk and web for $39.88 a month
• Your choice of low or higher end brand phones and even the iPhone 4 & 5 or Samsung Galaxy
• No contracts, billed monthly and family lines get a $5.00 discount for each family member up to 5 lines. (This will help my family save approx. $120 a month!)
• Wamart Family Mobile has online account management and information to pay, check usage, and more.

Unlimited wireless plans for awesome prices.

What I didn’t know – bring in your current phone and use their family plan too!

After I learned these facts I was excited to sign up and try the Walmart Family Mobile monthly plans. Check back next month when I get one of the phones and talk about usage and signing up for service.
