Mother’s Day Tissue Paper Flowers
Flowers are the ultimate gift for such special women like mothers. Why not give a handmade touch by making some wonderful tissue paper flowers? They will definitely last longer than the real ones. All you will need is a variety of tissue paper, contact paper, tape, scissors, pipe cleaners, buttons and hot glue.

First, lay down the contact paper right site up on a table. Use some tape to secure it. Now let the kids cut out lots and lots of different pieces out of the tissue paper and let them make a nice collage on the contact paper. When that is done, flatten the pieces out and cover with another piece of contact paper. Now cut out cute flower shapes. Glue one button on the center of each flower and a piece of pipe cleaner to make a stem. Make as many as needed to create a beautiful tissue paper flower bouquet.
Mother’s Day Fingerprint Vases
Another sweet and easy Mother’s Day Kids Craft is to make a fingerprint vase. You will need only a clear glass jar or vase and some enamel paint in a variety of colors. Be sure to read the instructions for the enamel paint and to watch the kids while making this craft. Than make sure to use only clean and dry jars. Now just let the kids dip their fingertips into the paint and dot onto the glass shapes like flower petals and flower centers. Repeat as you like and let the paint dry according to the directions.

Mother’s Day Button Flowers
A simple and fun way to complete any plant, especially greenery, is to make some colorful button flowers. All you will need is floral wire and buttons. Bend the floral wire into a cane shape so it has one long and one short end. Now insert buttons into the long end of the wire and then the short end. When finished, just twist the wire’s short end along the long one so the buttons are secured. They are ready to beautify any potted plants now!
