Potential buyers will either, consciously or subconsciously, use the curb appeal to make their first impression of the house. There are a few simple things you can do to spruce up your curb.

  • Sweep and clean the walkways: Make a point of keeping them clean. Remove branches, leaves and twigs.
  • Check paintwork: Check the garage door for dents or paintwork quality. As well, repaint the front door for buyer appeal.
  • Scrutinize architectural details: Check if the door handles are working. Do they open smoothly? Also check whether the garage door remote is functioning normally. Repair malfunctioning parts. They can affect how buyers see your home.
