Root Beer Float Chocolate Fudge Recipe

Chocolate Fudge Recipe Ingredients:

1 teaspoon + ¾ cup butter, divided

3 cups sugar

5 ounces evaporated milk

10 to 12 ounces white baking chips

7 ounces marshmallow crème

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons root beer concentrate

Chocolate Fudge Recipe Directions:

1. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil. Grease the foil with 1 teaspoon butter. In a large heavy bottom saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and remaining butter. Bring to a quick boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
2. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallow crème and baking chips until melted. Pour 1/3 of the mixture into a small bowl. Stir in vanilla extract.
3. In the remaining mixture, stir in root beer concentrate immediately spread it into prepared pan. Spread vanilla mixture over top. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
4. Using foil, lift the fudge out of the pan. Remove foil and cut the fudge into 1-inch squares. Store between layers of waxed paper in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
