A Carryall Bag for Small Necessities

There are some things like IDs, keys, phone, iPad, chargers, power cords, money, etc. that you have to pack just hours before leaving the home. It is a hassle to put each of these items in separate bags and there is also high chance that you will be leaving one or two bags behind.

The solution is to carry all these small, important, and last-minute-packing things in a messenger, tote, or carryall bag. It will make your walk through the terminal a breeze and save you from the hassle of rummaging through several bags when you need something.

Medicines & First Aid Supplies

You should not forget packing some basic medicines and first aid supplies because it is safe to be prepared for any unwanted situation. Take with you anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and painkiller types of drugs. Plus, take ointments, bandages, and a roll of cotton for treating cut and burns.

If you are following any medical prescriptions, bring enough medicines to avoid getting prescriptions refilled. In addition, don’t forget carrying a bottle of hand sanitizer because you may have to use public restrooms.

Sunscreen, Umbrella, and Sunglasses

Sunscreen is necessary for every summer vacation, as you are likely to expose yourself to lot of sunlight. But, if you are not familiar with the climate of your destination, it is better to be prepared for everything. Take an umbrella or a raincoat because you don’t know when there will be a pop-up shower despite a nice forecast.

On the other hand, sunglasses are not hard to find but buying them during vacation will probably have you paying a tourist-trap price. It is also wise to carry a soft sweater or a billowy scarf because planes and trains can be cold.

Snacks

If you are a new traveler, you probably do not know the sudden attack of hunger that can almost knock you down in the middle of a journey or trip. So, stash some snacks in your carry-in to handle such emergencies. You can buy them at the airport too but they will be overpriced.

A last minute vacation is somewhat bothersome because you don’t have proper time to plan and pack. It is not unlikely to forget things while you are rushing around to make all the arrangements. The summer vacation-packing list will help you to remember packing all the essentials.
