Ingredients
- 1 17.3-ounce package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan (6 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon poppy or sesame seeds (optional)
Procedure
- Heat oven to 400° F. Cut the puff pastry lengthwise into 24 strips and transfer to 2 baking sheets.
- Brush each strip with the egg and sprinkle with the Parmesan and poppy seeds, if using. Twist the strips and bake until puffed and golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
