The national say of love is almost here and what better day to treat yourself and those you love with a Valentine’s Day Brunch. Here is a recipe that will be sure to be a beloved treasure within your home. The cherry doughnut holes recipe is a simple make and even more delicious taste. You can even turn this into a project for the kids to help make with you. Put a sweet twist on your Valentine’s Day brunch and put these sugary goodies on the table, you won’t be disappointed. Valentine’s Day Brunch: Delicious Cherry Donut Holes

Ingredients
½ cup of Sugar
2 Large Eggs
½ cup of Milk
1 tsp of Pure Almond Extract
3 drops of Red Food Coloring
1 ¾ cup of All-Purpose Flour
1 ½ tsp of Baking Powder
½ tsp of Salt
2 tbsp of Minced Maraschino Cherries
Rainbow Sprinkles
Butter for the Pan
¾ cups of Powdered Sugar
3 tsp of Maraschino Cherry Liquid
1 tsp of Water
¼ tsp Pure Almond Extract
¼ cup of Canola Oil

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Then lightly butter a mini muffin pan.
- Next, in a medium sized bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture becomes light and fluffy; then stir in the cherry liquid, milk, oil, almond extract, and red food coloring. Carefully, stir the dry ingredients into the wet gradually, making sure not to over-mix the mixture.
- Fold in the minced cherries and begin to fill each mini muffin well ¾ full and tap the tray on the countertop a few times to help level out the batter. After all of the mini muffin holders have been filled then stick them into the oven.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or when toothpick inserted in the center of a doughnut hole comes out clean or with very few crumbs. After the doughnut holes have been heated and passed the toothpick test then set them to cool on a cooling rack before a glaze.
