Go green
Green is one of the most important colors of the Indian flag. The best way to incorporate it into your house is by bringing in the nature. Pick up some potted plants and place them in a way to get the flag like effect. You can also get some terracotta pots for planting and paint them in fun 15th of August theme. White and orange stripes with navy blue touches or simply orange, white, and green stripes will look great.

Accessories
Changing your entire upholstery can get really expensive for a day. However, you can always accessorize your home. Bed sheets, cushion covers, and curtains are the easiest way to update the look and feel of your home. But, do not change all the accessories into one color. Instead, use a combination of orange, white, and green to create a charming effect that will completely sync with your celebrations. For instance, orange or green throw pillows will look great with white bed sheet. Don’t forget to add navy blue touches to symbolize the Ashoka Chakra.

Rangoli is a decorative design created mostly at the entrance of the house. You can use materials such as dry colors, flower petals, or colored rice. To display your patriotic spirit, create a beautiful tri-color rangoli to usher peace and happiness in your homes.
Patriotic centerpiece
Make an Independence Day special centerpiece with blue vase and orange and white flowers. Pair it up with leather leafs to make it more impactful. Alternatively, you can put colored candles in simple mason jars for that patriotic yet elegant effect.
Decorating for the Independence Day does not have to be expensive or complicated. With little effort, you can lend a fresh new look to your home to go along with the patriotic spirit.
