Materials Needed
- Roller pin
- Rubber
- Scissors
- Pencil / marker
- Stick Glue
- Glue Gun
Directions
- Prepare all materials needed.
- Make sure that the roller pin is clean and dry.
- Decide the design of your stamp. Remember, you do not have to be an artist to do this. You may use lines, curves or anything that you love to print. If you think you love to do some sophisticated design, you always have the option to trace.
- Mark the rolling pin with your intended design to serve as your guide in placing the glue.
- Cut the rubber accordingly. Use the glue gun and stick glue to form the design. Do this step carefully as glue gun produces heat that may cause burns.
Stick glue is a very effective adhesive and quick to dry. You can immediately use the rolling pin stamp after the last rubber is attached. The rolling pin stamp is very convenient to use and long lasting. Since roller pins are wide, it can cover a broad area of the paper. This will save you time and efforts in transferring your stamp design. You can also make another roller pin stamp to have a combination of designs. Simply roll over the rolling pin stamp on your paper to transfer the design and you will have a masterpiece!
