Wouldn’t it be fun to personalize your switch and outlet covers with creative designs? Today’s DIY project is for you. This easy craft from DIY Network will show you how with simple craft tape! This will enhance your electrical fixtures while displaying your creativity. The best feature of this craft is that you only need a handful of materials and can be done in a few minutes.

- Colored or Crafty Tape
- Scissors
- Screwdrivers
- Cutter

Directions
- Prepare all materials needed.
- Unscrew the switch and outlet cover. Do this carefully to avoid damaging the cover.
Note: Electrical safety should be observed. You may turn off the main switch before starting this task. Anyway, this will only take a few minutes.
- After removing the cover, wrap each cover with the colored or crafty tape. Use your creativity in doing this. You may mix and match the tape designs or with a single style.
- Cut the excess tape using your scissors and use your cutter on the center holes or surfaces that cannot be done with scissors.
- Check the cover for any excess of tape scraps. Remove dirt accumulated during the process.
- Put back the cover and screw it properly.
- Turn on the main switch and test for functionality.
