Easy entertaining for Cinco de Mayo

Entry #82, May 5, 2010

Happy Cinco de Mayo! For those of you that celebrate this holiday – enjoy yourself, and drink responsibly! O.k., enough for my public service announcement, let’s talk entertaining! Let’s face it, Cinco de Mayo is associated with partying, entertaining, and having fun.

I found some great crafts/entertaining pieces that are intended for Cinco de Mayo, but the colors and fun mood can work for Mother’s Day too!

Martha Stewart has a feature on Cinco de Mayo decorations – and when I saw the oranges, pinks, and yellow’s… I instantly thought, make these for Mother’s Day Brunch! She’ll love it!

How about these creative foil napkin rings!

These napkin rings could be reused for many holidays to come.

I’ve heard of confetti, but how about scented confetti? This would be great to throw, or to have scattered around the dining room tablecloth.

Tell me when you see this flower arrangement it isn’t screaming… ‘Happy Mother’s Day!’
