Your wedding can be the best day of your life and unfortunately the most expensive. Summertime is the peak time for summer wedding planning and prices for the reception site, food, wedding attire and more can leave you feeling uncertain about affording your wedding. So, how do you decide what’s worth spending and where to cut the corners? Here are some simple tips that will help you plan a budget friendly wedding without having to break you bank.

Off season wedding
During the wedding season, venues, caterers, photographers, and, other vendors are generally booked and charge additional for their services. Whereas, if you schedule your nuptial during the off-season, due to availability, tariffs would be much cheaper and flexible. It’s also a good idea to avoid holidays for your wedding day.

Trim your guest list
This one is a tough choice, but it is the single easiest way to help your pockets. Omit invitations to friends or distant relatives you haven’t seen from long. The fewer the guests, the lower would be the cost for food and drinks. You may also consider keeping your D-day a very intimate affair with only close friends and immediate family members. This will not only help you save cash but will also let you spend this meaningful day with the people you love and value most.

A bridal wear is something every woman dreams about for years. You want to look nothing less than perfect on your wedding day. Have no fear-you can do that without spending a fortune on it. Look through the wedding magazines or browse the web for inspiration and zero down on the styles you like. Now instead of feeling sad about the fact that you are planning a budget wedding, find a professional tailor who can create a similar dress for a lower price. Another great alternative is to get a ready-made wedding dress from online stores like ebay. They probably do not have a designer label like the ones in bridal saloons but they are certainly worthy and beautiful available at a fraction of cost.
Planning a budget wedding does not mean giving up on your dreams or style. It only means making the best use of your imagination, creativity as well as friends and family.
