Are you ready for the holidays yet? Chocolate and peppermint has long been associated together and as a beverage, it makes a tasty treat. Quick and easy to make, peppermint hot chocolate is a perfect hot chocolate drink to serve your family on winter mornings just before they step out into the cold. Here is a recipe to make hot chocolate with a wintry twist.
Holiday Favorite: Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Yields: 25 servings
Ingredients:
2 cups malted milk powder, chocolate
1-cup dinner mints
3 cups dry milk powder
1 ½ cups chocolate drink powder

Directions:
1. In a food processor, mix 1-cup malted milk powder and dinner mints. Cover and run the processor until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add chocolate drink mix, milk powder and remaining malted milk powder. Blend well and store in an airtight container.
3. For each serving, combine ¾ cup boiling water and ¼ cup peppermint chocolate mixture. Serve with candy sticks if desired.
There is nothing like a cup of hot chocolate to beat that winter chill. Enjoy it’s smooth taste with a minty flavor for a delicious, refreshing experience.
