Don’t leave your front door bare and plain this holiday. Let your guests feel your warm welcome by enhancing and adding holiday color to your front door. You may opt to have the traditional colors or be more innovative and explore on various color combinations.

Adding colors to your front door involves items or objects that will represent the holiday celebration. A thorough planning and creative implementation should be done in order to achieve the desired output. Your goal is to provide a beautiful front door for the coming holiday.

Here are some useful ideas to add holiday colors to your front door:

Hang a colorful wreath

Although this is a typical item for the coming holiday but then it’s still effective in many ways. For many years, wreaths have evolved in various forms and styles that make it one of the most popular decorative items to represent the holiday. You can always add ribbons, laces or anything that will enhance the color of your wreaths.

Add dazzling lights

There’s no doubt that this will surely add color to your front door. Not only that, lights can add extra brightness and radiance for your front area. This provides lively effects to your decorations and gives more impressive results to your front door.

Arrange a variety of garland

If you have columns supporting your front porch, you can wrap around the columns with garland and you will see the difference.  For this idea, you can wrap it spirally in the columns. Do your best to wrap it accordingly so it won’t look like a grass crawling up into the columns. You can pair this with lights to accentuate the decoration even during night time.

The Christmas holiday is fast approaching. Don’t waste your time and decide which one you prefer to enhance your front door. You can start by looking at the availability of the materials needed in your stockroom.
