Mudroom Inspiration

Mudrooms have so many uses: storage, sitting, wipe off area, and transition from outdoors to indoors.  In the past I’ve showed you how to use the extra space in your home for a mudroom. Whether your mudroom is in a laundry room, part of the basement, or shares a hallway, mudrooms are popular even in homes that don’t have muddy boots and kids! Here’s some good inspiration of mudrooms from Apartment Therapy. These are colorful, functional and are in a variety of styles.

This mudroom doubles as an area for recreation equipment! Check out the shelves for goggles and eye wear.  The black and white theme adds a whimsical and modern touch.

Have big jerseys and hockey sticks to store? Instead of having them collect in the garage, store them in your mudroom.
