Have you been looking for some creative brunch egg dishes that are a far cry from just the usual? I love egg strata bakes because they are like a casserole that you can pack lots of great fresh ingredients and then cut it into squares to serve. This savory green chile & bacon strata has the perfect combination of eggs, bacon, cheese and green chiles, but you can add different types of cheeses, asparagus, and any other ingredients you love!

8 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13-inch dish with nonstick spray.
2. In medium bowl, mix together the chiles and cheese. Gently spread into the prepared dish.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour and salt. Pour over chiles and cheese. Sprinkle the bacon on top.
4. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until or until bubbling and the eggs are cooked through. Test with a toothpick to come out clean.
For variations add tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and other fresh ingredients (ensuring they are dry and not moist). We’d love to hear how you customize this Savory Green Chile & Bacon Strata Bake Recipe
