In this day and age where space is limited in homes I find it inspiring to see home offices that share a common space refreshing. Obviously, in homes that have multiple spaces and enough room to accommodate more than one desk area – this is the optimal situation. Today, I found some shared home office spaces that inspires you to be creative in your home.
The two work spaces here work well. Plenty of table area, lighting, and organization/display space.
Shared office spaces should also take into consideration decor. The office doesn’t have to feel plain and boring.
In this office, book shelves hold and organize a large amount of supplies. This is a good consideration to think of when planning a shared space.
Shared office space can be functional, beautiful and will help keep you company! Remember, consider the work to be done in the space by both inhabitants. If one person needs quiet, or an overabundant amount of space – a shared office space may not be the right option for you.

I know it’s very self-serving of me to suggest the services of a cabinetmaker, but hey, that’s what people should do if they want home offices as nice as these. On the other hand, you’re in Florida, and my business partner and I are in California! All kidding aside, if you just move furniture into one end of a room, you will never get the truly wonderful effects that can be had with custom cabinetry. If you want it to look built-in, it has to BE built-in. But these are some wonderful concepts, and I thank you for sharing them with us.
I agree with you Joseph! If I had my way (financially and all) I would get custom desk areas, and cabinetry in my home office space. One day my friend, it will all come true. :o) Thanks for your comments.
