Scrap Fabric Art
Scrap Fabric is one of the most abundantly available extras in a house. Whether it is a leftover from the cute little frock you stitched for your little one or the remnants of a child’s school project, it can all come to very good use, in the form of buntings and runners. Cut out similar sized triangles out of scrap fabric and sew the edges to give a neat look. Once the triangles are ready fasten them onto a string or a chord with the help of hot glue. You can even sew them around the chord. Once done you are ready with a beautiful summer decoration for your home. It is important to let your creativity come across, so do not be bound by triangles. You could have squares, rectangles or even odd shapes. In fact, whatever pleases you!

Fun With Small Twigs & Branches
Summer takes its toll on flora too and you can often find small twigs and branches scattered in your garden. These nothings can be put in a better place than garbage cans. You could start by collecting twigs and branches of near about widths. Stencil a shape on a canvas say a Christmas tree or a Star or whatever catches your fancy. Finally use hot glue to arrange the twigs in the desired shape.

Simple Sand Jars
It can’t get simpler than this. All you need are a few glass jars of different shapes and sizes. You could use wine bottles, sauce bottles, candle jars etc. To begin this project you can start with a nearby beach. Just go there, have a fun day and get some sand back home. Fill the sand in a glass jar and tag it with the name of the beach and date. And henceforth whichever new beach or place you visit just bring back some sand and keep filling and tagging the jars. So, along with sufficing for a great decor option the sand jars also act as real souvenirs from the place visited.
