Summer Inspired Pink Cadillac Margaritas Recipe

Entry #2713, August 3, 2013

This summer are you and your guests ready to unwind and enjoy the summer nights? A summer inspired Pink Cadillac Margarita could be just the cocktail you need. A margarita is a popular Mexican cocktail. Popular in the southern United States and Mexico it basically consists of tequila mixed with Cointreau. But sometimes you can have orange-flavored liqueur and lime or lemon juice as alternatives.

This summer, try this flavorful Summer Inspired Pink Cadillac Margaritas. This is great when you host a party or even a small gathering at home. You can just imagine the soothing effect of the margarita shaken with small blocks of ice. This is surely a great refreshment that you shouldn’t miss this summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice

Procedure

Stir together all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Pour desired amount of mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Cover with lid, and shake 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glasses. Repeat with remaining mixture. Serve immediately (or make ahead; see tip below).

Note: We tested with Cointreau orange liqueur.

Test Kitchen Tip: Mix up several batches of Pink Cadillac Margaritas 3 to 4 hours before the party starts, and chill in decorative bottles or pitchers, ready to shake and serve when guests arrive.

That’s all you need to make a Summer Inspired Pink Cadillac Margaritas. It’s so easy to mix and very quick to complete the mixture. Don’t forget to serve with salt on the glass rim. Also, there’s a tequila glass that varies in size and shape for more tempting looks. This pink-colored cocktail drink tastes so good. You will never get enough of this margarita drink especially when shared with friends or loved ones.
