Directions
- Cut the PVC pipe to about 1.5 feet in length. In case you have longer shoe sizes, feel free to adjust the length of your PVC. Just ensure to at least have a 2-inch allowance for your shoes size.
- Flatten the surface of the PVC especially the edges using your sand paper.
- Stick the PVC to your wall or from any area you intend to place this shoe rack. Use PVC solvent cement to attach the PVC, adjacent to the other. You can play with the arrangement for as long as you maintain the stability of each PVC rack.
- Paint your customized rack according to your color preference. You may use spray paint for fast application.

Let the paint get dry before you place your shoes. You can have as many PVC holes or dividers as you want. You can also do this for your kid’s shoes. Just be creative in selecting where you decide to place the rack since this may be fixed and difficult to remove. This weekend DIY project will help you creative varying sizes from a wine rack to handy storage in your garage or mudroom!
