How did the Favelas come to be you wonder? In the 18th century kidnapped africans who were sold into inhuemane bondage as slaves with no land ownership and employment came together to form the modern day Favelas (then called bairros africanos).
“Casa Paraty” is a visual residential masterpiece sculpted of concrete and glass located on one of the islands of the city of Agra dos Reis and Paraty near Brasil in South America. The use of the site with its rich landscaping and picturesque surroundings make for the perfect backdrop to this modernist architecture.
