In March I had an article on getting your patio ready for the Spring. Did you do it? I’ll be honest, I just started this past weekend really cleaning it off. Once the temperature reaches 80 in Jacksonville – it’s officially time to start working on your patio/porch. I was reading The Inspired Room blog, and she has good tips on how to welcome guests through your front porch.

Furniture, flowers, fresh paint.... you're on the right track!
The appeal for guests to feel welcome as they come to your front door is referred to as ‘curb appeal’. Your front porch tells a story, quickly and hopefully correctly about what’s inside your home.

Your front door is the story-teller to the rest of your home
An inviting wreath, colorful walkway pavers and an ornamental fence, “Come on in!”

Make them want to know what's inside your home
Have a back porch that you want to make inviting, too? Planters with seasonal plants, comfy furniture, and plenty of color will make your porch sing!

Whether you are decorating the front, side or back porch, the same tips apply - Invite them in.

Tip: Trying to sell your home? Your front porch will make the difference as to whether buyers want to come in or not!

What a great resource!
Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
