Have you ever wondered if your occupation or job could lead to you catching the flu? Health is wealth. Indeed, your money spent for medicine should have been better if invested in a profitable venture. Also, spending time at the beach or out of town trip with the whole family is far better than staying in a hospital due to sickness like the flu.

However, sometimes the nature of your job exposed you to a greater risk of catching the flu and other viruses. You cannot help but to be there and perform your tasks. It is something that you cannot avoid to earn a living. Thanks Men’s Health for these great ideas!
Here are some jobs that are vulnerable of getting flu:
Teachers
As a teacher, you have to interact with your students on a regular basis. Discussion and demonstration of the lessons are done in close proximity to students for them to hear and understand. Also, teachers are exposed to several groups of students having different health conditions. If there’s influenza, there’s a greater chance that your students may be one of the carriers.
Business travelers
Although this job involves fewer clients compared with teachers but the number of travels from one place to another can be very risky. Whether it’s by bus, train or plane, each mode of transportation is ideal for spreading and acquiring flu and other viruses.

Public utility vehicle drivers
Drivers of taxis, buses and other utility vehicles have direct or close contact with their passengers. Coughing and sneezing of passengers on board can transmit the flu viruses in no time. It can also be transferred through fare payments and other forms of contacts like handshakes or tap for a job well done.
