The popularity of vintage decor never fades away. In fact, a lot of people are considering vintage designs for their home exterior and interior designs. It makes sense because the vintage designs are still very effective in providing impressive looks to your home.

There are quite a number of things you can do in order to bring vintage décor in your home. It’s just a matter of proper selection and planning to fit your existing home design. Also, you need not have a major renovation to achieve a vintage look.

Here are some ideas in bringing vintage decor to your home:

Consider vintage shelves or cabinets

One of the noticeable things in your home is the shelves or cabinets. They can be big or wide enough to occupy a decent space in your interior that makes your shelves or cabinets the perfect object with vintage looks. With vintage shelves or cabinets, you can be sure that it can catch the attention of viewers and highlight your vintage theme.

Bring out your oldest technology in the garage

Don’t hide those primitive appliances like television, radio, alarm clock and other vintage technology. Bring them out and after removing the dirt and dust, have them as decorative display items on top of your shelves or tables. You can mix and match these vintage items with a recent technology for comparison.

Display your vintage toys

There are several people who take for granted their old toys and just let them go on trash. But bear in mind that vintage toys can be luxurious collectible items which are definitely priceless. You can have these vintage toys on display at any area of your home where you want a touch of vintage design to be visible.

That’s such a good idea to display vintage toys. We have some stored in our attic but have never considered using them as ornaments but think I’ll dig them out now.
