Organization in a small kitchen

In our post a few days ago, we featured an article about laundry rooms incorporated in the kitchen.  Kitchens can be large or small, but they’re only as good as the organization in them.  I think large kitchen’s work well for people who want large entertaining areas, and want lots of room to maneuver.

What’s great about small kitchen’s is everything has a place. Maybe I should say SHOULD have a place.  Apartment Therapy has a good feature on organizing a small kitchen.

Many small kitchens don’t have a dishwasher because it takes up space.

Tips: If you feel handy and want to do-it-yourself, home improvement center’s have a wide selection of kitchen storage ideas.  If you don’t feel comfortable, hire a professional organizer. They will measure your existing space, and find out what functions you want the storage to serve.
