In our post a few days ago, we featured an article about laundry rooms incorporated in the kitchen. Kitchens can be large or small, but they’re only as good as the organization in them. I think large kitchen’s work well for people who want large entertaining areas, and want lots of room to maneuver.
What’s great about small kitchen’s is everything has a place. Maybe I should say SHOULD have a place. Apartment Therapy has a good feature on organizing a small kitchen.
Many small kitchens don’t have a dishwasher because it takes up space.
Have enough room to hang a pot rack or glass rack? This Old House has a great example of good looking storage that works even better if you have good looking pots!
Bathroom and Kitchen guide shows how cabinetry that pulls out, and has layer’s of storage is perfect in small kitchens.
Tips: If you feel handy and want to do-it-yourself, home improvement center’s have a wide selection of kitchen storage ideas. If you don’t feel comfortable, hire a professional organizer. They will measure your existing space, and find out what functions you want the storage to serve.
