While summertime entertaining can be a treat, often times the heat can make an outdoor party less enjoyable. This summer how about create a lemonade bar for your guests? Sure the original lemonade is a treat in itself, but when you consider all of the add ins and different flavors of lemonade these days, the sky is the limit!

Try out some of these great ideas that I got from Right@Home. Who knew lemonade recipes could be so inventive? Let me know which ideas you love the best.
1.) Different flavor lemonades:
Have you ever thought of mixing other fruit juices with your lemonade? Try these: watermelon, strawberries, pomegranate, or even sparkling water can change your classic lemonade into a delightful treat for your guests.
2.) Add creative garnishes:
Another great idea to adding flavored juices is to add fresh herbs and cut-up fruit as garnishes to lemonade. Try these options: use fragrant rosemary, and mint to bring a summer infused drink to life. Also add strawberries, blueberries and raspberries to create a colorful lemonade everyone will enjoy.

3.) Adult lemonades:
If you are throwing an adult get-together, how about kicking up the lemonade into summer cocktails? Have a bottle of vodka or any of your favorite clear liquors to add life to a simple lemonade. You will be surprised what some fruit, alcohol, and a beach umbrella will change your lemonade into a tropical drink!
4.) Make it frozen!
Who says lemonade has to be drank in a liquid state? How about combining strawberries and adding ice and freezing it for a smoothie consistency instead? Here’s a recipe for frozen strawberry lemonade, yum!
Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen (or fresh) strawberries (about 24 strawberries)
- 1/2 cup crushed ice (or smallest cubes possible)
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
- 3 packets of sugar substitute or 2 Tablespoons of sugar (or to taste)
- 3/4 cup water
Optional
- 1/4 lemon, sliced, for garnish
- 1 Tablespoon of ginger, fresh or dried (finely chopped)
- A few mint leaves
Directions
1. Allow frozen strawberries to thaw slightly.
