Prioritize your home cleaning jobs
The difficult part of the cleaning job is possibly to decide from where to start the process. To solve the dilemma, start with the room that is the most important one in your home. Prioritizing the rooms and cleaning accordingly will save you from freaking out even if you run out of time to clean the entire house. In addition, try to sweep away all the messes because a cluttered home looks messier and dirtier than an uncluttered one.
Organize the Front Entryway
Keeping the front entryway and the foyer neat, clean, and organized is an effective way to impress the guests. It will definitely not feel good if they are welcomed with an eyeful of clothes, shoes, and other stuffs of your family members. So, use wall hooks, built-in storage, storage bench, and/or baskets to keep all those stuffs arranged in an orderly fashion. A decorative mirror or an artwork can give this place a touch of aestheticism.

Take Care of the Kitchen
Holiday season means a lot of cooking and baking. So, the kitchen needs to be clean and hygienic. Wash the serving dishes and glasses and polish the silverware and other silver-made things to make the upcoming parties much smoother.

The stove, sink, the countertop, and the backsplash area need special cleaning. The greasy build-up on the stove can be easily removed by ammonia. Leave the burners overnight inside a big zip lock bag with ¼ cup of ammonia. All the grease and food build-up will be wiped out in this process.
Wash the Linens
As guests or relatives are sure to roll into your house, it is the ideal time to start washing all the linens you have. Wash the spare towels and tablecloths too and keep them ready to use. In addition, fluff all the pillows and the cushions of sofas and couches. Remove all the cushions and beat them from top to bottom with a wooden spatula or spoon. More force will bring greater fluff. Flip the couches in the same method. It will make them a whole lot comfier.

Aromatize the House
After doing all the cleaning and maintenance works, your final job is to make your home smell good. It might be winter but an Autumn-like fresh smell throughout the holiday season will feel good. Keep odors away by burning decorative, scented candles. You can opt for fruit or spice-flavored candles to permeate your home with cozy, warm, and festive scents.
Hope these tips will make your holiday cleaning process easier and less time-consuming.
