- Googly Eyes
- Washable paint
- Paintbrush

Procedure
- Dip the paintbrush into the washable paint and apply the paint on your kid’s hand. The paint should be thick enough to maintain the shape and light enough to show the fingerprint outline. Paint all the fingers except the thumb.
- Tell your child to press his hand on the piece of paper. Afterwards, he should draw a small circle above the hand to create the head.
- Cut two heart shapes from another paper and apply glue at the back of each. Give your child to attach on the sides of the hand. These become the bug’s wings.
- Apply glue on the googly eyes and give your child to affix on the small circle.
- Use the sharpie to draw the mouth and antennae.
- To make a different love bug, apply the paint on your kid’s leg. Tell him to step on the construction paper.
- Use the sharpie to draw a circle on the heel then draw the mouth, legs, and antennae. Add the googly eyes.
- Tell your child to write some words below the bug to create a Valentine’s Day card.
