It’s that time of the year again- it’s time to give thanks for family, health, and success.This Christmas is all about friends and families coming together to celebrate and feast. As holiday meals are usually the cornerstone of most holiday entertaining, and this savory chili meatballs recipe will surely be a crowd pleaser.
Holiday Appetizers: Savory Chili Meatballs

Preparation time: 1 hour
Yields: 20 servings
Ingredients:
2-Pound lean ground beef
2 egg
1-cup bread crumbs
¼ cup minced onion
1/4 cup water
2 cans jellied cranberry sauce
1-1/2 cups chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1-tablespoon lime juice

Procedure:
In a large bowl, blend ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced onion, and water. Roll to make small balls.
Bake in a preheated oven (350 degrees) for 25-30 minutes. Turn the balls once in the middle.
In a large saucepan or slow cooker over medium heat, mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, chili sauce, and limejuice. Add meatballs and cook for 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Alternatively, you can use packaged meatballs to save time.
