Home Decor: Paintable Wallpaper Inspiration

Entry #301, October 15, 2010

Have you ever marveled at textured wall surfaces but didn’t know how to achieve them? Paintable Wallpaper is a good solution for achieving a patterned wall surface and it can be painted.  Therefore it is the best of both worlds, you get the durability and pattern of a wallpaper, but then the paint you add on top is customizable.  What a great idea!

Wallpaper is available in rolls as well as squares to be applied to your walls, before painting.

  1. Hi Paula,

When you say where is the wallpaper painted from, what do you mean? The wallpaper starts off white, and then you can paint the wallpaper any color you’d like. Does this make sense? Let me know if I answered your question. Thanks for visiting Paula.

  2. Hi Paula,

I want a contemporary look and want to use two kind of wallpapers complimenting each other.
My husband and I like grey, baby blue, garden green colors but we don’t want our rooms to look very dark
I have a 17 month year old so I would need to be able to clean it time to time.

    Please advise us.

    Regards,
