Who wouldn’t like an edible Easter basket? That’s right celebrate Easter with a delectable Easter Basket Cupcake. These tasty and amusing treats are easy to make and will cause everyone to want to take a bite. Down below are the ingredients and instructions on how to create the cakes to your liking. Come, eat and be merry!
Simple Easter Basket Cupcakes

Servings: 24 Cupcakes
Total Time: 1 hr. 30 min.
Ingredients
1 Box of Betty Crocker ® Super Moist ® yellow cake mix
Decorated Cupcake Holders
1 1/3 Cups of Water
1/3 Cup of Vegetable Oil
3 Large Eggs
1 Container (12 oz) of Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white frosting
1 Pack of Green Sour Extreme Candy that are separated into strips
3 Packs of Jelly belly jelly beans and any other candy you choose
2 Packs of Green Sprinkles

Directions
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F for metal and glass pans (325 F for dark or non-stick pans). Grease the sides and bottom of the cupcake pan and place the cupcake holders within each hole.
2) Blend the cake mix, water, oil and eggs into a large bowl at a low speed for about 30 minutes or until moistened. Then beat at medium speed for an additional 2 min. Then take a spoon and scoop out the batter evenly into each cup until all of the batter is gone.
3) Put the pan into the oven and let it bake for 18-21 minutes. After the baking time is done take out the cakes and insert a toothpick into the center of one of the cakes and if it comes out clean then its ready if not set the pan back into the oven for 5 more minutes.
4) Let the pan cool for 10 minutes then add the white frosting to each of the cupcakes. Take out the candy strips and insert the ends of the strip to the opposite sides of each of the cupcakes for the rim.
5) Then decorate the rest of the cupcake with the jelly beans and sprinkles however you like and enjoy!
