It’s Barbeque Time! The weather is nice, the flowers are in bloom so let the good times roll. One of the most classic foods that are present at any barbecue (bbq) is baked beans and everyone has their own favorite recipe and way of cooking them. Well, here is one more way to cook these delicious morsels. This recipe adds a kick of spice to go along with the sweet and savory flavoring that is already associated within the baked bean recipe. It will take some time but you and your guest will happy about the wait, so try it out and enjoy!
Smoked BBQ Baked Beans

Ingredients
Non-stick Cooking Spray
2 cups of White Beans, Soaked for 2 hours
3 tablespoons of Ketchup
2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons of Smoked Paprika
2 teaspoons of vegetarian chicken Soup Base
½ teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes
2 cloves of Garlic, chopped
1 Bay Leaf
1 Carrot, chopped
1 Celery Stalk, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
1 (14-ounce) Can of Diced Tomatoes

Directions
- Grease the slow cooker with the nonstick spray.
- Begin, Placing the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, smoke paprika, soup base, red pepper flakes, garlic, bay leaf, carrots, celery, onions and tomatoes into the slow cooker along with ½ cup of water.
- Stir the combination on a high heat for 3-4 hours. Between 1.5-2 hours, add 3 tablespoons of water if it is needed.
- Then serve.
