How to Make Gluten Free Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 loaves (24 slices)
2 cups all-purpose baking flour (gluten-free)
2 cups ripe bananas (4-5 medium size; mashed)
½ cup walnuts (chopped)
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
Gluten Free Bread Directions:
- Mix the all-purpose gluten-free flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk the eggs, canola oil, vanilla extract, applesauce, sugar, and mashed bananas in a small bowl. Now, stir into the flour mixture into this egg mixture until it becomes moistened, not watery or gooey.
- Coat two 8-in. x 4-in. loaf pans with cooking spray. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and pour the mixture on both the pans evenly.
- Insert the pans inside your oven and bake for 45-55 minutes at 350°. Remove the cakes from the oven when a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Keep the pans aside for 10-15 minutes and then remove the bread loaves to wire racks.
Banana Bread Recipe Tips:
- If you want to make the recipe healthier, substitute sugar with honey and use a bit more Gluten Free baking flour.
