I am so excited that I was chosen to be a veteran blogger for the Adopt a Blogger service.
Here’s what this wonderful service does:
Adopt-a-Blogger started in November of 2007 by Kristen Doyle of the food blog, Dine & Dish. Since its inception, Adopt-a-Blogger has paired over 500 beginning bloggers with an experienced mentor to help them navigate through the blogging world.
Starting a blog can be overwhelming, especially when you don’t have someone to turn to for questions. By participating in an Adopt-a-Blogger adoption as a new blogger, you will have the chance to become a part of a community of support and get answers to questions from another blogger who has been in your shoes. As a mentor, participating will give you the chance to give back to a new member of our community and help enhance the blogging world.
My blogger is Claudia Smith from Fig. 2 Design Studio and her blog is The Color Connoisseur.
Claudia has a beautiful website that features stationery for special occasions and her blog is an
extension of her colorful personality!
Throughout our experience I’ll help Claudia with blogging tips, resources and advice for having a successful blog. I encourage you to visit her blog often!

Hats off to you, Ronique, for adopting The Color Connoisseur. I’m still to visit Claudia’s blog (I absolutely adore the paper, and these colors make me think of spring), but I came to Stagetecture to see what’s new cooking and I see you’re the mentor where I applied to be a mentee (sadly, I have not heard anything for over a week – perhaps Majology is beyond repair ((*_*)) ). In any case, I commend you for your generosity and I know Claudia will thank her lucky stars that your paths have crossed.
oh no! I’m sorry you haven’t heard back. I’m not sure how they are advertising. I learned about it off of Twitter. Hopefully other bloggers are paying attention and answer. You know you can ask me advice if you need. You could be my foster mentee until someone truly adopts you. 🙂 Just let me know.. I hope you find a home soon my friend!
This is such a wonderful idea and service. Claudia is a lucky gal – just reading your post I bet many beginning blog writers were thinking to themselves, “pick me, pick me”! I will check out Claudia’s site.
