Dessert Ideas Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°.
- Take a 9 and 1/2–inch lightly greased tart pan and put the piecrust into it. Press into ridged edges and fold if there is any extra dough over the pan’s outside. If there is excessive dough, pinch it to secure to the pan.
- Take a fork and lightly prick the bottom and sides of the piecrust. Keep it in a freezer for 20 minutes.
- Take the piecrust out of the freezer and bake for 15 minutes after placing on a baking sheet. Stop baking after it takes a light golden brown color.
- Let it cool on a wire rack until it becomes completely cool. Use a rolling pin to tap the extra crust from the pan sides.
- Take the white chocolate bars in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave them at ‘High’ until smoothly melted. Stir at 30-second interval.
- Beat the softened cheese with an electric mixer as a medium speed. Beat until it becomes fluffy. Stir in melted chocolate and beat until blended well. Then, add lemon curd and keep beating with the mixer until everything blends well together.
- Spoon the mixture into the crust. Use a spatula to smoothen the filling. Let it freeze for minimum four hours.
- Place the lemon candies on top of tart and sprinkle the caramelized sugar spirally against each of the candies. This is just for decoration. You use anything of your taste and choice for topping.
Easter Desserts Tips:
- Both purchased and homemade lemon curd will work fine with this recipe.
- You can skip the decoration or use just a bit of whipped cream to lessen the hassle.
