What fabulous cocktails are you serving this summer? If your Fourth of July doesn’t have a classic Mojito cocktail, you are missing out! Mojito with the punch of extra lime is a chilled cocktail for adults that will rock your Fourth of July barbecue, party, or outdoor cookout. The cocktail is strong-flavored for using rum in it but the fragrance of mint leaves softens it a bit at the same time.
Fourth of July Cocktail: Mojito with Extra Lime

Ingredients
8 servings
• White rum (1 liter)
• Club soda
• Fresh lime juice (1/2 cup)
• Lime-mint syrup (1 cup)
• Fresh mint leaves (1/2 cup)
• 2 limes (cut into wedges)
• Crushed ice (2 cups)
For Lime-Mint Syrup
• Water (2 cups)
• Sugar (2 cups)
• Fresh mint leaves (1/2 cup)
• 2 limes (zested)
For Garnish
• Mint sprigs
• Limes (cut into wedges)
• Crushed ice

Preparations
At first, you have to make the lime-mint syrup.
1. Take a medium saucepan, pour the water and sugar in it, and bring the water to a boil.
2. Stir (if you want) until the sugar is completely dissolved and then turn the heat off.
3. Stir in the mint and lime zest and keep it 30 minutes at the room temperature.
4. Sieve the mixture and put the syrup in the refrigerator until cold.
To make the cocktail:
1. Take a big pitcher and muddle the lime wedges, mint leaves, and the crushed ice in the bottom of it.
2. Mix lime juice, rum, lime-mint syrup, and more ice into a glass or jar and pour the mixture into the pitcher.
3. To add taste to the drink, top off with club soda. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint springs and lime wedges.
4. Serve!
This excellent Fourth of July cocktail will increase the taste of the main and side dishes manifold.
